Hello, welcome. I am Angela Eischens, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Usui Reiki Master Practitioner and am attuned to Sacred Flame Reiki. I offer integrative methods to my practice of psychotherapy.

As a therapist, I have a deep and profound reverence for the depth of opportunity difficult, stressful, or traumatic experiences have for our own capacity to heal, become aligned with one’s self, and form deep and sacred connections to all that is – both within ourselves and outside of ourselves as humans. I have been training in trauma-based therapy since 2006, specializing in experiences of early life trauma and stress. I am fully trained to provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I am rostered Nationally in CPP (Child-Parent Psychotherapy) supporting children and their parents birth-age 6 who have experiences traumatic events/experiences. Now, I primarily serve adults with complex experiences of early life trauma that contribute to significant stress, anxiety, and depression today; as well as those who are experiencing profound shifts and overwhelm in their belief systems (whether that is because of anomalous experiences, spiritual awakening, or traumatic experiences). I have found that as one is able to unpack, understand, and heal from the impacts of these experiences they also may open up to more of their own potential, which at times means accessing innate gifts of other forms of intuition and expanded consciousness that can lead to anomalous and extraordinary spiritual experiences. This has been my own personal experience healing from early trauma and stress as has been the experience of many of my clients. As one begins to explore these experiences this might bring a range of fear, concern, apprehension, and overwhelm to experiences of curiosity, excitement, ecstasy, and changing or expanding beliefs of what life on Earth is or means.

As an energy worker, I provide Reiki and intuitive energy work through the form of in-person Reiki sessions and distance reiki sessions. I have been studying energy healing since 2018 and have training in shamanic studies, advanced channeling, chakra healing and balancing, sound healing with crystal singing bowls, and Reiki (both in Usui tradition and in using the Seven Sacred Flames).

I have a special interest in the integration of spiritual healing methods within the psychotherapy space. I have provided consultation and supervision services to and with other therapists who are also working to integrate complimentary and alternative (really the original) healing methods into their therapy practices legally and ethically.
